Nissan Patrol engine conversion kits

The Patrol is heavy, mechanically honest and worth re-engining rather than replacing, and we build two routes for it. The BMW M57 route pairs the engine with a ZF automatic and our own transfer case adapter, which is the quieter and more economical of the two and keeps the Patrol driveline intact. The Mercedes OM606 route is the mechanically simpler one — a 3.0 litre inline six with far less to go wrong electronically — and is sold either as a complete kit or as the engine mount kit on its own for a builder sourcing the rest. Neither asks you to cut the vehicle about: both mount to the original chassis rails and use the original transfer case.
